Walking the Faithful Path

By James Cassaday, Licensed Private Investigator ·

I started Faithful Path Investigations because I believe the work matters — not just as a business, but as a calling.

Process serving sits at the foundation of the legal system. Without it, defendants can't be notified of lawsuits. Courts can't proceed. Rights can't be enforced. A process server who cuts corners, fakes attempts, or submits fraudulent affidavits doesn't just fail a client — they corrupt due process itself. That's not something I can take lightly.

From the Submarine Fleet to the Field

I spent years in the U.S. Navy on submarine duty. If you know anything about submarine service, you know that there is no margin for error, no tolerance for half-measures, and absolutely no acceptable substitute for doing things right the first time. When a system fails at depth, people die. That environment burns a certain kind of precision into you — one that doesn't really go away when you leave the service.

That's the standard I brought to Faithful Path Investigations. Every GPS timestamp is accurate. Every body cam is running before we approach. Every affidavit is a complete, honest account of what actually happened. Not because someone is checking — but because that's what integrity looks like in practice.

Faith as a Business Foundation

A Christian-based PI and process serving firm is an unusual thing. I've had people ask me whether faith and investigations are compatible — whether you can pursue evasive defendants and conduct surveillance and still call yourself a person of character.

My answer is yes — and in fact, faith makes you better at it. It means you don't lie to get information you shouldn't have. It means you treat defendants like human beings even when they're being deliberately difficult. It means you tell clients when a case isn't going the way they hoped, rather than stringing them along. It means you only take cases you can work with a clean conscience.

It also means you work hard. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart. That's what we do, every day, for every client.

What Walking the Faithful Path Looks Like

In practical terms, it means:

  • We don't fake attempts or manufacture documentation.
  • We tell you the truth about your case, even when it's not what you want to hear.
  • We treat every person we encounter with basic dignity.
  • We protect your confidential information like it's our own.
  • We follow every applicable law, even when bending a rule might make a case easier.
  • We don't quit when a case gets hard.

If that sounds like the kind of agency you want working for you, we'd be honored to earn your trust. Reach out to Faithful Path Investigations or call us at (877) 331-4374.
